    Penelope Baki

    Managing Director

    I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you and inform you how the company started.
    I trained as a Registered Nurse in Lincoln County Hospital 1973-1976 and for a few years worked in the field of Elderly Medicine. I have had a varied Nursing career in between spending time bringing up a young family.

    I have experience as a Practice Nurse working for a local General Practitioner for 3 years. This gave me a feel for community care after working closely with the District Nurses.

    In September 1992, my husband and I decided to have a change of direction in our careers and because health care was our profession we made the decision to start New Care Services Nursing Agency.
    In 1997 we were fortunate enough to take over Cornerstone, one of the longest established care services in Preston. Cornerstone has continued to provide services for clients who were with the company prior to 1997, supported by some of the original staff that joined us at the same time. The company has continued to expand and will continue to provide high quality service to all its clients.

    I am an NVQ assessor, a member of the Chartered Management Institute, and have audit training. I will continue to keep up to date with current changes in legislation and develop my professional knowledge and skills. I have completed the Train the Trainer course and in September 2009 completed PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in Lifelong Learning) .

    I am committed to ensuring the company I started and am proud of, continues to provide a high standard, high quality service to a wide range of service users supported by a dedicated team of managers and well trained and skilled team of care workers.

    Adam has worked for Delta Care in a management role since 2004 however he has always been involved in the business from the start.  During his time at university and college he would work in his spare time providing care for clients, so built a passion for the care sector from an early age.

    Adam studied Business Management and went on to achieve an MSC in information Systems at Huddersfield university where his final project was publishers in an international journal.

    Adam became the operations Director in 2012 and has supported Delta Care to expand in providing home care service throughout central Lancashire and Southport, as well as offering residential and day care services.

    Adam has a passion in ensuring Delta Care remains a leading provider of care in  the North West.  He can be contacted at any time via email and would welcome feedback of the service.

    Kathryn Connolly

    I am responsible and professional individual with over 6 years’ experience at management level. I have been working for Delta care Ltd for over 4 years and I am committed to promoting high standards of care and the development of staff we employ.
    Educated to degree level I have a wealth of knowledge of the social care sector. I have obtained a leadership and management qualification along with A-levels in Sociology and Criminology. I have recently taken part in a Dementia Initiative Pilot Scheme through LWDP and was presented with an award from Esther Rantzen. This has given me a greater insight and understanding of how dementia affects individuals and their families, enabling me to develop staff in approaches to working with individuals with dementia.
    I am very passionate about my role as a manager and pride myself on promoting services for individuals, enabling them to achieve the optimum care/support to enhance their health/wellbeing, and maintain their independence. I am an approachable person and value all clients and the staff we employ. I have built excellent working relationships over the years with both clients and staff and I am dedicated in supporting and motivating staff to enable them to achieve their full potential.

    My name is Lesley Jones and I am the manager for Charlotte House Wellbeing Centre. I was appointed in November 2014. I hold a NVQ 3 and  NVQ 4 registered manager as well as a level 3 in management and leadership.

    I have over 20 years of experience of supporting people with a physical disability in a social day service setting as well as enabling  people to work towards their own goals within their own community.

    I am responsible for developing and delivering a person centred service ensuring that choice and control is with the person that we support whilst ensuring that a high standard of care is provided.

    I am a fully trained  Risk  Assessment Manager for Delta Care Ltd - Southport Branch

    My Role allows me to meet each service users at the start of the carer package . I am able to support them with all the right aids they may need and to find out what their needs and requirement  are.

    I  have done training in end of life (palliative care) with the support of Delta Care.

    I have recently completed level 5 in Health and social care and am proud to have achieved this.

    As Delta Care Ltd’s finance manager Muhammad is responsible for managing every aspect of our finances. From preparation of financial reports to overseeing credit control function including looking after any matter that can affect the financial health of organisation. Muhammad’s role is vital to everyday running of the company.

    Muhammad is commercially aware public finance accountant with the breadth of audit experience of different sectors including manufacturing concerns while working for audit firm for 5 years before joining Delta Care Ltd in 2008 and now he has 10 years of experience in accountancy and finance.
