Delta Care Ltd. is 30 years old on 14th September 2022!
As you are aware we are celebrating 30 years in business on 14th September 2022. During the last 30 years, we have had many ups and downs, challenges to face, and also fun and happy times. We have shown that together we have made a difference in many people's lives and this is why we started the business for. Our culture is family and I hope you all feel part of the Delta Care family.
Many of you will not have known my husband, Dr. Baki, together we put all our efforts into creating Delta Care Ltd. and I know he would have been very proud of our achievement today. From our humble beginning, a cold office with a desk and telephone we have made a success of the business we have today. Of course, we have not done this alone, but, with your help, support, and hard work, we have together achieved something I think we all should be proud of.
We have had some wonderful staff working with us over the 30 years, some have moved on to pastures new, some are still with us and some with sadness have passed on to a better place. It has been a pleasure working with all of you and them.
Our longest serving employee is Lorraine Watson she came to the office on New Hall Lane 28 years ago for a part-time job! She has since worked her way to Care Coordinator and on the way trained many care staff including Adam!! I personally cannot thank Lorriane enough for sticking with us, and showing dedication and loyalty throughout.
I want to thank our Service Users, some of whom have been with us for a very long time. We have not always got things right, but you have stayed with Delta Care and for that, we are thankful and grateful. Our longest Service User is Mrs. EH - 22 years, WG - 19 years, DL - 12 years, BF - 16 years, CD - 10 years, BT - 20 years, LE - 10 years, BF - 10 years., and CR, CM, DW, DG, EL, FG, GB, JB, MM, SB, SH, VS, SM all for 10 years.
I want to personally thank my son Adam Baki without his support and dedication I really would not have been able to continue the business. He came to work with us straight from University and has played a huge part in growing the business and making it the success it is today. Thank you Adam I am truly and sincerely blessed to have you by my side.
I want to thank Muhammad Chaudry (Finance Manager) and Laura Pilkington (Project Manager) who have been loyal, and great support and help to both myself and Adam.
I want to thank the Registered Managers for all their hard work, managing the offices, and keeping the good name of Delta Care Ltd. going. Of course, they could not do their job without the wonderful care coordinators and care staff!! Thank you all.
Thanks to all the staff at Victoria House who always give their very best to make the lives of residents so special.
Thanks to the staff at Charlotte House, who faced many challenges during the height of COVID. They helped out in the community and their support was extremely helpful, and we were all truly grateful. Thanks to the Drivers who bring the service users to Charlotte House Monday to Friday.
Thanks to our HR department, Trainers, and the Finance team who work tirelessly to ensure Delta Care Ltd. remains compliant and staff are paid on time.!! Thank you.
We must not forget Dave, Kevon, and Gerald who work hard to keep everything maintained and clean, and tidy. They have played a vital role in keeping Delta Care going. Thank you.
