Relay For Life - 6th July 2024

On the 6th July 2024 we will be taking part in the Cancer Research Relay for Life Rossendale sports club, Marl Pits BB4 7SW. Relay for life focuses on a relay where team members take turns completing an activity, whether that be walking laps of a track, to show that step by step, we’re beating cancer. Every Relay for Life includes games and music from local performers, and a Candle of Hope ceremony to give us a moment to reflect and honour everyone affected by cancer.
We also have a Just Giving page where you can donate to support cancer research; too many people are affected by this awful disease. It is a 24-hour event, and we would love some people to stick out the 24 hours! We understand not everyone can do that, so even if you come for a couple of hours or just to show your face, every support and encouragement will be fantastic during the day.
