Sue's 25 Years Work Anniversary

Sue's 25 Years Work Anniversary

3rd of April, 2024

A massive congratulations to Sue Williams, our Registered Manager at Charlotte House on completing her 25 years of dedicated service working with Delta Care. πŸ₯³πŸ€©πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠ

We appreciate your hard work and dedication! πŸ’›πŸ˜„

We asked a few questions to Sue about her experience working with Delta Care for 25 years and how she feels. πŸ˜„

1. Do you remember your first day? I do. I was waiting outside the Newhall Lane office for about three-quarters of an hour because I was early and then spent most of the day being introduced to all this office staff and then reading the DeltaCare policies and procedures.

2. How has your job changed over all these years?

So I started off as a care coordinator in Newhall Lane. Then I finished doing that job and just stayed in the community. And then eight and a half years later, I was asked to become manager of Victoria House. And then in 2022, no, 2021, I came back to Preston office as a coordinator.

3. What has been your biggest achievement?

I think becoming a registered manager at Victoria House.

4. What has been your favorite memory working in DeltaCare? And how do you feel working in DeltaCare?

Back at Victoria House, it was a lady's 100th birthday. and we put on a big party for it um and then winning the Red Rose Award in 2023 with Delta Care.

5. The last question is, how do you feel working with Delta Care?

I love it um the owners are very supportive. It's a very much family-orientated company. And I don't want to I hope to see my days out until I retire now.

Thank you.

Customer Feedback
Review from Homecare.co.uk - Delta Care Charlotte House

Charlotte House is an amazing place providing a high standard of care for their clients. The staff are caring and considerate people who make a difference to people’s lives. My dad suffers from Dementia and Charlotte House provides him with a safe environment to interact with other people. It provides a purpose for him to get washed and dressed in the morning and he stands at the window happily waiting for his carer and transport to collect him. The staff work very hard to adapt the care to individual clients needs. They are flexible and creative to adapt to the situation and keep clients fully engaged. Clearly, my dad is unable to tell us about his day as he can’t remember. However, thanks to a wonderful member of staff, we now have a Facebook page with lovely photos of their adventures. We can also show the photos to dad to stimulate discussion about his time at Charlotte House. Thank you to the Charlotte House te
