Rehabilitation Care Worker

Salary:£8.80 rising to £9.15 (Weekends) plus £0.30 per hour bonus
Job Purpose 

To work as an integral part of the caring team, delivering the highest standards of personalised care, ensuring that everyone is treated with respect and dignity, and that individual rights to privacy, dignity, independence and choice are met. Key


  • To provide the highest level of personal care and attention to patients, following individual care plans carefully and ensuring that all contact is polite, friendly, warm and supportive.
  • To understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements demonstrate ability to follow treatment plans set by physio, OT and SLT to continue practice with patients on the ward.
  • To always be alert to patients physical and mental well-being, immediately reporting any accidents or changes in the condition of a patient to Nurses or Therapists, and to accurately maintain and update patient records as required.
  • To respect and maintain confidentiality of patient personal information at all times, this includes the behaviour of a patient and actions and any incidents that may occur in the course of day to day care.

  • References for last 3 Years
  • Up to date Mandatory training
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good communication skills, able to put others at ease
  • Willingness to develop new skills
  • Clean Drivers Licence 
  • Flexible approach
Excellent rates of pay
  • Monday to Friday 8.80 per hour plus 0.30 per hour bonus
  • Saturday and Sunday 9.15 per hour plus 0.30 per hour bonus
  • Fuel allowance of 0.15 per mile for drivers
NB. Bonuses are paid on a performance basis. Performance is reviewed on a monthly basis.
