I started at Delta Care in 2020, where I completed an apprenticeship in Business Administration within the HR team. Over the following year, I quickly realised that this was the career path for me. Since then, I have gone on to complete my CIPD Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications, and over the next couple of years I plan to undertake my Level 7.
I have now been an HR Officer for just over three years, and I can honestly say I enjoy my job. No two days are ever the same, which is one of the things I enjoy most about HR. If you had told my 16-year-old self or my teachers that I would end up working in HR, they would definitely have laughed, but now I can’t imagine doing anything else.
I’m excited to see what challenges and achievements 2026 will bring.
