I joined Delta Care in March 2020 as a Care Assistant and was voted Employee of the Month in my first month. Later that year, I was awarded Employee of the Year.
A few months later, I was promoted to Senior Carer, and then to Care Coordinator, completing Level 2 Health and Social Care to strengthen my knowledge in safeguarding and client care.
In October 2022, I applied for the Registered Manager role and was offered the position. In January 2023, I passed my Registered Manager interview and led our branch from ‘Requires Improvement’ to ‘Good’ in the CQC inspection. That same year, I was honoured with Registered Manager of the Year 2023.
In 2025, under my leadership, our branch was awarded Location of the Year, recognising the dedication and hard work of the team. I have now completed Level 4 and 5 Health and Social Care, further developing my skills to lead and support our teams.
Alongside my role as Registered Manager, I am the Health and Wellbeing Lead for Delta Care, promoting staff wellbeing and supporting teams across all branches.
