My name is Stacey Stansfield. I am the registered manager for the Southport branch with Delta Care. I have been in the care industry for 10 years. I started out training to become an RGM; however, my passion for care was more important to me. I found that being a nurse, you don’t get to spend the deserved time with patients. My passion is Dementia care. I worked on a Dementia unit for 2 years. I started as a carer and soon progressed to a senior carer and then unit manager. I took the step to become a Registered Manager in 2022 for Delta Care, and I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made.
At Delta Care, you can see and feel the values, which are Family; we all support each other, whether you are a branch in Chorley or Manchester, and I have never experienced support in this way before. As a manager, you often feel pressure; however, with my higher management team, I am never alone, and they are with me every step of the way.
